Our Logo
Our logo is a picture of the beliefs that underlie the work we do at Grasslands Mediation.
The two trees – The beauty of a forest, whether a small woodlot or a mountain side, is enhanced by a variety of trees, creating different colours and shapes. Together they make a beautiful forest. So our logo has an evergreen tree and a deciduous tree, representing the diversity that creates beauty and richness in life. At Grasslands Mediation we offer a process that has the potential to make differences less chaotic and more life-enriching.
A stream – Water, especially running water, is often a symbol for life and that which gives life. At Grasslands Mediation we seek to help people and respond to diversity and conflict in ways that create the potential for life and the enriching of life.
A bridge – A bridge joins two sides that are separated by something. At Grasslands Mediation we provide the mediation process as such a bridge, a bridge that makes it possible for the two sides to walk toward each other and meet in a way that can resolve issues and bring settlement.
